You may recover an inactive (archived) document to reactivate it, or you can make a copy of a prior (archived) version.  Use the Search function (described above) to find the inactive document you wish to recover, and then follow these steps to recover or restore it:

Note:  When you recover or restore an inactive document, it will retain its original document ID, but the version number will change.

1.From the Search results page, select the inactive document.

2.On the document edit screen, click Draft to send the document to the Draft stage of the policy creation cycle.  You will be prompted to assign a document owner and workflow, and the document may then be edited and can proceed through the normal review, approval and publish cycle to become an active policy again.

3.If you wish to copy and revise the policy, click Copy. You will be prompted to assign a new policy name and workflow.
